Miller by Sperian launches range of TurboLite Personal Fall Limiters

Miller® by Sperian, the worldwide leader in personal protective equipment, is proud to
announce the launch of five ground breaking Miller TurboLite™ Personal Fall Limiters (PFL’s).

With about one in 10 workplace fall accidents due to workers using incorrect fall arrest
equipment, or using equipment incorrectly, Miller by Sperian has developed a range of PFL’s
that reduces the risk and liability.

Workers will no longer need to “switch-out” equipment to maintain a safe fall distance. Because
TurboLite™ eliminates the need for different fall protection equipment when fall clearance
changes, workers are always able to use the proper equipment at varying height levels.

Miller TurboLite™ PFLs can also be used in horizontal and foot level applications where an
overhead anchorage point is unavailable.

Traditionally, lanyards have been used for this fall protection functionality. The new Miller
TurboLite™ Personal Fall Limiter range is the advanced technological and cost effective
alternative, basically making shock-absorbing lanyards obsolete on the worksite.

Cleverly engineered, each Miller TurboLite™ Personal Fall Limiter features different terminations,
and offers a host of key product features.

Weighing less than 1.5kg and certified to support a user up to 140 kg, the TurboLite PFL range is
built tough for unrivalled durability. It offers 1.8m of working capacity in a self-retracting lifeline,
which attaches directly to the harness back D-ring.

The TurboLite™ supports increased productivity and safety by workers not having to change
equipment to maintain a safe fall distance, therefore keeping workers on the job without
interruption. Competitively priced in comparison with shock-absorbing lanyards, Miller TurboLite
Personal Fall Limiters will keep safety costs in line and are a lightweight and easy-to-use solution
to improving safety when working at heights.

Miller TurboLite™ PFLs offer a high strength impact-resistant nylon housing and engineered
HiTech Polyester/Vectran webbing for maximum abrasion resistance and durability.
The webbing payout extends and retracts without interruption, decreasing the risk of workers’
lifelines being tangled.

In addition, each PFL features a built-in swivel allowing the units to rotate in multiple directions,
preventing the webbing from twisting and binding inside the unit.

Miller TurboLite™ PFLs provide increased mobility and freedom of movement and are ideal for
use in construction, utilities and warehousing.

With varying terminating ends for added flexibility, the new Miller TurboLite™ PFL range includes:
